 The Weeknd's smash hit from his After Hours album, "Blinding Lights" became the most streamed song ever in spotify history on the Christmas eve 2022 dethroning Ed Sheeran's Shape of you by over 148k streams.

Although the track did not debut number 1 in the first week of its release but it grew on people and came top to spend multiple weeks in the number one spot on the Billboard hot 100 and spent 91 weeks on the chart.

This also makes it the only song to have the most streamed song on Spotify all-time and #1 on billboard hot 100 .
